It would be an understatement to say I am pleased with the results of my surgery performed by Dr. Goldman nearly a year ago. As I aged, I had become very displeased and self-conscious with the appearance of my face and neck. Made an appointment with Dr. Goldman and decided to go ahead with face/brow lift. I cannot believe the difference in my appearance and the self-confidence I have gained since my surgery. Although, and this is very important to me, no one has noticed that I look "different" - only that I look "young". Receive compliments on my appearance all the time. Thank you, Dr. Goldman.

I was recommended to Dr. Goldman by my ENT Physician. Radiation had contributed to nasal passage collapse. She told me he was the Best. He is! I saw him and he explained what he could do to improve my breathing issues. He was so thorough, went over all the procedures in detail, answering all my questions. I'm still recovering three weeks out but could already breathe better when he took out the packing a day after surgery. His staff are all amazing. He also has a big heart for helping those less fortunate across the world.

Dr. Goldman is a caring doctor who is also an artist. He does not overdo on facial helpers--fillers and other fixes--just enough to smooth and brighten the face. I have gone to him for 16 years and have never had a disappointing experience.

Dr. Goldman is one of the most talented, professional and caring physicians I have ever consulted with. He was highly recommended to me by my dermatologist when I decided to have plastic surgery to try to improve my appearance at age 67. The results were beyond my wildest hopes.... very natural, yet very dramatic. His staff is wonderful and I felt very well tended to throughout the entire process, start to finish. Dr. Goldman did a septoplasty, turbinectomy and rhinoplasty for me. I had breathing problems and needed septum repair so I could breathe through my nose and sleep better at night. I always hated my nose because I had a large nasal hump. He fixed my breathing problems and made my nose look great! I can't say enough wonderful things about his skill. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

October 18th, 2020Dr. Goldman was my surgeon back when I was having multiple vocal fold surges at Wake Forest Hospital. I had number scars- one on top of the other - and Dr. Goldman did scare revision that was incredible! That was 20 years ago - I never forgot him and when I needed work done recently, I searched until I found where he was now - and had him do my recent neck work. I recommend him to everyone! He is wonderful, he is joyful, he makes you feel and look your absolute best! I am only sorry I have nothing left for him to do. I shall go visit once a year just to see him! Dr. Goldman is the best.

His approach is quite conservative, never talking you into unnecessary work. And his goal with every treatment is for the patient to look completely natural! October 18th, 2014I have known Dr. Neal Goldman and he has been my Doctor for over 12 years. I went to him when he was in Winston Salem and now travel to Boone to see him. He is excellent in his field and his admired by his peers. He has been to excellent schools, he is professional and follows up on the latest procedures for his speciality. Neal makes you feel like you are his only patient. He did surgery on me and I am having more done in the next two months. I highly recommend him as an experience Doctor that Dr. Goldman is second to none. Not only is he a great and caring doctor but he shows it by giving up his time to go on missions to help children with severe problems. Dr. Goldman also works with our Veterans and cares greatly about his patients. Dr. Goldman is not only a good Doctor but a good person. That is very important to me.
June 18th, 2014I came to Dr. Goldman after sustaining a blow to the nose during basketball practice. I had never been particularly fond of my nose, especially from the profile; however, the crooked appearance following my injury deeply bothered me. More importantly, I could not breathe out of the left side of my nose. My mom consulted a doctor in the hospital where she worked in hopes of finding an esteemed plastic surgeon. This doctor said Dr. Goldman was the absolute best. For this reason, I followed him from Winston-Salem to Boone. This was the best decision I could have possibly made. Dr. Goldman diagnosed me with a deviated septum. He thoroughly explained the procedure, which would be required to fix my septum and restore my breathing. I also asked him to fix the bump in my nose, which was visible from my profile. He explained the results I should expect in great detail. Dr. Goldman truly values the well-being of his patients, which became very clear to me after my surgery. On the day of my surgery, he came to my room to check on me not only in between cases, but also before he left the hospital for the day. In my follow-up appointments, he showed great patience with me as he taught me exercises to keep my nose straight. Dr. Goldman has done exponentially more than fix my nose and restore my breathing; he has renewed my confidence. I could not be more satisfied with his work. My nose has gone from being the facial feature I most hated to the one I love the most. Dr. Goldman's gentle spirit and genuine care for his patients diminish the intimidation which often accompanies surgery. Also, his staff is very inviting. Trusting Dr. Goldman with my nose is the best decision I have made in regards to my health and confidence. He truly is an artist that works miracles.
November 26th, 2013Dr. Neal Goldman did surgery for me two years ago and I continue to be very pleased with his work. The skin over my eyes was excessive and lessening my sight. My consultation with him was thorough and insightful. He gave me much information to help me decide to have my brow lifted as well and it was a wonderful decision. Working with Dr. Goldman was so pleasant and easy. The morning of the surgery, he talked with me about the procedure and left me feeling that I was in very competent hands. November 13th, 2013Dr. Goldman is known as one of the best plastic surgeons not only by his patients but more importantly by his peers. I was a hairstylist for many years and most of my career was in Winston-Salem part of it being at the time Dr. Goldman was working at Wake Forest. My clientele was very affluent and made up of a lot of doctors (male and female) and doctors wives. They called him "the face guy" and "the nose guy" lol. I saw a lot of facelifts, nose jobs, etc. and Dr. Goldman's were always my favorite because they were so natural. I have referred many, many people to him, even my mother. She looks great. I had a brow lift while Dr. Goldman was at Wake and a few months ago I had my eye lids done. He also is responsible for starting me on Retinoid products. I could not be any happier with the results and I am a perfectionist. There is a negative review here that sounds fake to me.
November 12th, 2013Dr. Goldman has been my surgeon for nearly 10 years. About 9 years ago, I was unhappy with my profile due to my large "turkey wattle". Even though i am slim I always had 3 chins. Dr. Goldman said this was hereditary, not a weight related issue. He performed a lower face lift and the results were great. A year or two later, I broke my nose for the second time and one of my nostrils was twice the size of the other and I had trouble breathing. Dr. Goldman performed both a rhino and septoplasty with nice results. No one ever quite realized what was different...just that I looked good or had changed my hair. I would use him again and highly recommend him
February 2nd, 2011He performed microtia surgery for my daughter and other than God I honestly don't think anybody else could have made her an ear any better. I would never have believed any doctor that was as nice and as hands on as he was would have been so amazing at sculpting an ear from nothing at all!!!!I would recommend him for anything in reconstruction or plastic surgery.

"In December of 2017 Dr. Goldman performed surgery on my nose.. He reshaped my nose, fixed my deviated septum, fixed my thin and collapsing nasal walls, and performed a turbinectomy. The ENTIRE process from start to finish was nothing but a dream! Dr. Goldman’s team was absolutely phenomenal with every step of the process and really took the time to answer all my questions and put my mind to ease with the surgery! My nose was something that I had always been self-conscious about my entire life, so it was a dream of mine to have it done and not only does my nose look STUNNING, but it also works correctly. I can actually breathe out of it now, which is the best part :). I had no complications with surgery or with the recovery process. Every step of the process turned out to be the best case scenario. I was so pleasantly surprised when I had no black eyes, hardly any bruising, and much less pain than expected. It’s now been a little over four months since my surgery and my nose (in my opinion haha) is PERFECT!!!! The before and after pictures are completely astonishing and choosing to have Dr. Goldman perform this surgery for me was the best decision I’ve ever made. I recommend anyone thinking about getting any kind of nasal work to go to him because you won’t regret it!! If I had to do it all over again I would hands down do it because the results are better than I could have ever dreamt or asked for!"
